To get us ready for sound based gadget caches, I want to share a free game I found online. I enjoyed playing it, and I did solve it in time to “escape”. I have no connection to Owl Field other than playing this game. You can find info about 3D Escape Room: Frequency plus links to the audio files at this location. You can also find the files on YouTube or here at Podchaser. A detailed review of the game can be found here.
Your odd friend has disappeared. You head out with some other friends to find him, and get trapped in a story that could be conspiracy theory - or is it? You have 60 minutes to solve 9 puzzles and escape before something bad happens - “They’re real, they’re out there and they’re testing us!” There are 40 audio files, with most acting as decoys. Each time you solve a puzzle it tells you which file to play next. I strongly suggest good headphones and a quiet place to concentrate to do well on this game.
I hope this game inspires some ideas for your own sound based gadget cache. Leave a comment if you have an idea to share.
